Sharepoint Social Strategy Consultant For Mtn GroupMtn Oct 2012 - Nov 2013Johannesburg Area, South AfricaAt the end of last year I consulted on the project SharePoint social strategy for a period of 3 months to ensure user adoption, which increased initially by 3000% in usage at the launch of the site and averaged a 20% increase thereafter & it lead to the projects’ SharePoint community and sites being rated as the largest closed group & second largest group overall, globally. I then moved onto Group for a global roll out of the adoption strategy. The uptake of the 4 sites was such a success that we rolled out the strategy across 49 sites (including private, public communities as well as team sites) On completion of the project I supplied a “ User Guide in pictures comprising of FAQ’s and detailed instructions on both “how to use” and “how to design for owners and members across both community and team sites.The results on overall usage of the platform and implemented strategy showed that in a period of 6 months an increase from 10 unique visitors per day to 140 unique visitors per day on the platform. Some sites experienced, prior to the event an increased usage of over 20,000% and other campaigns had as much as a 20 876% increase in user usage and interaction over a period of a month and a half.Integrating user habits, knowledge of SharePoint and changing the user interface look and feel with call to actions and through use of knowledge share lead to a successful adoption globally. -
