Flooring Installation Manager
CurrentScope new flooring jobs on the insurance repair side, writing up insurance contract and getting down payment to start repairs, work with the customer for selections, give estimates for upgrades when they opt to change, order material, line up installers, send install docs with pay, work with vendors on flooring related stock material and ordering, escorting installers into installs, problem solving any installations issues for quick resolutions, overseeing all flooring department related job cost expenses being turned in timely and accurate into accounting, work with other department management to coordinate the daily/weekly workflow of jobs and employees, completing final walk through when needed for possible punch list, following up with the customer to get a COC signed and final payment. Retail flooring sales also offered through our showroom and many of the job duties I listed above are the same just done in a retail setting. I have to prepare the end of month for the department for the owner.Measuring software- floorwizard Job software- Buildertrend I am also on an on call team where I respond to water damages after hours.
