Over the past 13 years I’ve helped organizations and programs with a social or environmental purpose successfully translate their mission into action, whether through brand visibility, return on investment, or programmatic outcomes. I’m especially passionate about workers’ rights and supporting parents and adults in creating economic opportunity and mobility for their families. Currently, I’m the Training and Professional Development Manager for East Coast Migrant Head Start Project. Prior to this, I spent time as an AmeriCorps fellow, a government consultant to the Environmental Protection Agency, a small business wholesale manager, a collaborator on a county-wide action plan, an instructional designer, an English language educator, a farm apprentice, and as an adult graduate student. Through these experiences, I have seen many successful examples of partnership, education, and program building at global, national, and local levels. The common thread has always been centering people through meeting them where they are and listening to their needs. I’m excited to be part of the reimagination of training, the future of jobs, and economic and workforce development more broadly that has equity, sustainability, and community voices at its core.
