By the end of the internship I was running the Softlines (clothing) department. Our score went from 67%- 76% by the end of summer. I also simplified the weekly workloads by creating a department calendar. Some of the tasks would include planning where new product would go, and which end-caps and aisle displays were to be set each day. I also worked on campus with recruitment. This involved attending various on campus events and talking about my internship experience and recruiting students. Last school year I worked in the store as a Leader on Duty. This included making sure the day to day activities of the store are running smoothly, driving sales and results throughout the store, and helping guests.
