I am a board-certified lactation consultant and parent educator providing evidence-based, non-judgemental lactation care to help families of all kinds meet their lactation and infant feeding goals. I was inspired to become a lactation consultant after an IBCLC helped me overcome challenges breastfeeding my first son following a NICU stay. I have expertise in assessing oral function and oral ties, breast refusal, transitioning home from the NICU, and supporting neurodiverse families. I have taken additional training and have experience with bottle refusal, exclusive pumping, induced lactation, gender-affirming care, and low milk production. I work collaboratively with pediatricians and other healthcare providers in the area. I am also an American Red Cross certified CPR and First Aid Instructor. When I’m not working or reading about lactation, I enjoy cooking, escaping into a good book, hiking, and camping with my husband and three sons.
