For over 10 years, I have worked in the entertainment field as a video editor, producer, director, camera operator, and post-production consultant.I specialize in documentary films, but my experience also includes broadcast, commercial, news, corporate, educational and narrative films.My award-winning documentary directorial debut "Kuna Ni Nanang (My Mother Said)" has screened at over 50 film festivals including Tribeca, Hawaii International, Athens International, Ashland Independent, Breckenridge, Sebastopol Documentary, and Slamdance (courtesy of LUNAFEST).My short experimental dance film "The Elevator Dance (For Elisa) Remix" is currently on the festival circuit and has screened at the Oscar-qualifying BronzeLens Film Festival, Maui, Santa Fe, DisOrient, BraveMaker, Exeter Dance International, and On Art - Dance & Music (Poland) among others.My work for other filmmakers has screened in film festivals all over the world, including Sundance, SXSW, Middlebury New Filmmakers, and CineMas+ SF; and my broadcast work has been shown on Showtime, PBS, the Oxygen Channel, the WB, and The Filipino Channel (ABS-CBN).I am passionate about documentaries and continue to collaborate with other producers and directors including Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer Kim Komenich on "Revolution Revisited," a documentary about the 1986 People Power Revolution and the fall of the Ferdinand Marcos regime in the Philippines.
