As the Director of Programs and Family Support at Thrive Community Support Circle, I oversee counselling and wellness, program development, family support services, integrating equity and belonging into every service we provide. With decades of experience in the non-profit sector, I am passionate about providing trauma informed, strength based mentorship, and lead to empower my team and community. I have extensive knowledge, skills and experience training others in certified programs and workshops such as trauma-informed workplaces, WEVAS, Circle of Security, and Nobody’s Perfect parenting. I am a successful grant writer, researcher, and offer statistical reporting in creative and impactful ways. ECEIII, Reiki Level I practitioner, and practicum site supervisor for MSW and MACP students. Currently a volunteer member of the City of Winnipeg’s Committee for Safety and active member of Communities 4 Families downtown parent-child coalition. I am proud to contribute to the mission of empowering individuals and families to enhance their well-being and resilience.
