Completed assignment in The Netherlands as part of the Mars Engineering Leadership Experience.Led a €600,000 CAPEX project, involving a production line removal. The project included scope creation, execution, contractor management and handover to site post SAT. The top priorities were ensuring Mars safety standards are met and the impact on production is minimised, whilst keeping within budget and scope.

RO water pipework installationProject manager for £340,000 CAPEX project which was completed from installation to commissioning stage. Identified and implemented an effluent reduction of 200m3 of RO waste water (per day). Installation included a number of the high-risk tasks requiring permits for hot works, working at height and crane lifts. Managed crane lifts, ensuring certificates for operators and machinery parts were in accordance with LOLER. Supervised the construction of a concrete slab and additional drainage, overcoming unforeseen challenges whilst reducing additional costs and delays.Effluent screens installationManaged £175,000 CAPEX installation of a rotary drum screen and a parabolic screen, from installation to commissioning. Improved project scope to produce a cost saving of £70,000 to site. Worked with suppliers to overcome delivery and technical challenges. Ensured the design and installation was in line with Mars global HSE standards.Trailer parkLed a project to construct a 20 bay trailer park on site, from scope creation to tender process in 7 months. Carried out value engineering to reduce cost from £1.7million to £900,000. Ensured the design of the park met Mars HSE and WPT standards, successfully completing all required pre-engineering works.RFID card reader installationWorked with operators and Focused Improvement team to create new operator and technician profile settings on Waldner filling machines. Increasing factory efficiency by improving consistency in machine performance, traceability, and a reduction in factory lost time.

Student process engineer within the Mammalian Manufacturing Engineering Group, providing support to manufacturing activities in a top global bio-pharmaceutical CDMO.- Led a FEED project involving the design of a nitrogen purging system. Applied Lean Six Sigma techniques, resulting in cost savings of over £250,000.- Experience in capital project management (sourcing, purchasing, qualification, delivery,training to handover for manufacturing).-Technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing.-Writing and executing documentation (URS,FS,DQ,IQ,OQ,PQ and commissioning protocols)-Interaction and collaboration with all site departments.
