American Friends of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AFAvH) is the US partner organization to the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH) dedicated to fostering academic and cultural exchange between the United States and Germany. AFAvH supports transatlantic collaboration by engaging a network of US alumni, promoting scientific cooperation, and facilitating connections with German research opportunities.With nonprofit management and fundraising expertise, I cultivate relationships, enhance board engagement, and secure resources to advance the foundation’s mission of promoting international exchange, scientific cooperation, and active alumni involvement. As a leadership team member at American Friends of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, I spearhead initiatives to strengthen academic and cultural ties between the US and Germany and engage over 6,000 US alumni of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. As an advocate for transatlantic collaboration, I shape strategies to expand the foundation’s US presence and foster a vibrant network of supporters and alumni.

Network for Good provides a portal that connects nonprofits, experts, funders and software, providing nonprofit organizations with the guidance, tools and time to raise more money for their mission. I assist clients in small and mid-sized nonprofits from all parts of the country in meeting or exceeding their fundraising goals by strategically maximizing their potential, leveraging their available resources and contacts, and implementing a sound stewardship program that not only retains more donors but also leads to larger gifts.

The National Comedy Center is the first non-profit cultural institution and national-scale visitor experience dedicated to the art of comedy. The Center’s 37,000 square foot exhibit experience will feature more than 50 immersive and interactive exhibits, and embodies Lucille Ball’s vision for her hometown of Jamestown, NY as a destination for the celebration of all comedic artists. Design of the museum has been led by some of the most prominent cultural and interactive design firms in the world, whose portfolios collectively include the award-winning 9/11 Memorial Museum, the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, Saturday NightLive: The Experience, Universal Studios and more.

Arts and Business Council of Chicago is an Arts Service Organization providing pro-bono business and operational services to 300+ arts non-profits in Chicago. Program offerings include: Business Volunteers for the Arts (BVA), Board member training and matching (On BOARD) and non-profit business practice workshops.Responsible for all development including: individual and institutional giving, government grants; donor events; annual gala and providing /Board of Trustee development reports. Reported directly to Executive Director. Increased institutional giving in the first fiscal year cycle. Successful record of grant awards with increased funding. Launched membership program, creating the first individual giving outreach.

Successful record of grant awards, including receiving $50K over request from reputable funder. Exceeded fundraising goal by $450K in annual benefit gala.
