Travelage West is a sister brand to Northstar Travel Group, based in Los Angeles they are a bi-weekly publication for travel industry readers. Responsibilities included working in a fast pace environment with a small team, being second at command after my Creative Director. Layout design, image manipulation, concept development, photography, production and uploading web content. Other skills used were helping the marketing department develop print ad materials, presentations, emails, web banners, and design advertorials for their clients.In my last role, I maintained a consistent workflow for our staff members so that we meet our deadlines. This involved receiving editorial content, designing the editorial layouts in an efficient amount of time, circulating the content for copy-editing, and approving the final product to send to the press before deadline. I assisted our production manager when we had multiple publications going to press at the same time. This involved editing, organizing, and finalizing print ad materials from our advertisers and making sure that they were the correct file format for press. When print assets were finalized, the next step was to upload all print materials to our digital platforms. This involved using our CMS platform to upload our content and using social media accounts announcing the latest issue. Other responsibilities included developing new concepts for our advertisers when they needed digital or print marketing assets promptly.

Northstar Travel Group is the leading B-to-B information and marketing solutions company serving all segments of the travel industry including leisure/retail, corporate/business travel, meetings and incentives, and travel technology. Assignments included presentation design using powerpoint, developing web advertisements, e-blasts, image manipulation, contacting and working with clients to develop conceptual design. Other skills included, working along side web developers to demonstrate aesthetic for live content.
