Energized by the potential for positive change, I'm a dedicated nonprofit leader with a heart for building community, eradicating poverty, and creating a just and sustainable food system.I'm driven by my love for both the work and the community I serve. Currently, I'm the Interim Executive Director at the Nourish and Develop Foundation, a multi-service agency in rural Ontario. I stepped into this role after several years of experience across a variety of non-profits, from tutoring students with learning disabilities, to programming at an arts council, to operating food banks.As an educator, I aim to bridge knowledge gaps and inspire action towards just and sustainable food systems. At present, I lead seminars on sustainable agriculture at Fleming College. Previously, I've also taught courses and seminars on on Community Food Distribution, Diverse Community Food Partnerships, and Human Inequality.Having personally experienced the impact of basic income during the Ontario Basic Income Pilot Project, I'm fiercely committed to advocating for income and policy based solutions to poverty and food insecurity.Let's collaborate to create lasting impact! 🤝
