I am an award-winning actuary, past-President of the Casualty Actuarial Society and former Head of Data and Analytics at Zurich North America. In 2022 I founded Octagram, an actuarial consulting firm focused on P&C pricing. We're on a mission to leverage new and different data to improve pricing for our clients and help them grow profitably.We have two products: FireRQ and CrashRQ. FireRQ leverages 1.5 million reported fires to help carriers avoid attritional fire claims. CrashRQ leverages over 10 million reported crashes to enable detailed geographical rating for personal auto carriers.I'm a two-time winner of the Variance prize for the best paper in the Casualty Actuarial Society's peer reviewed journal.
