This is my first time to be a receptionist, so I have to spend a lot of time to learn the Opera System. I am very appreciated that my supervisor pay high passion on me, she was willing to use her leisure time to teach new knowledge to me.Actually, I leared a lot of knowledge and skill from this work experience, how to quickly finish your job, and how to effectively manage your work time, and find the most effective solution to resolve different emergencies and guest's complaints, ect.

Last year, I was working at Beijing Doubleree by Hilton, and my job is waitress in Executive Lounge. Although, I just worked for three months, but I learn a lot of things that I never think about it, for example, I know I should change my position to consider my colleague's feeling, understand how to communicate appropriately with others. In addition, the patience is the essential for me to do work well down. In addition, I got Excellent Interns reward. What's more,I have to emphasize that I very appreciate with my intern patners and managers!

This is a special restaurant which located in Tianjin, this restaurant has 129 years history, so the hotel has own museum that attracted a lot of guests. In the intern, I was working at western style restaurant as a waitress, actually, F&B work is very hard and challenge, you have to pay 100 percent of energy if you want to show a good performance, because the restaurant will appear different guests and different emergencies, the waitress should know how to distinguish what kinds of emergencies I should call my manager, and what kinds of emergencies I should follow my work experience to handle it. As a result, I learn how to keep a clear mind to handle the emergencies, how to quickly finish my job, how to say sorry to customers, and so on.

Actually, this is my first work in my life, I like to communicate with guests, so I prefer to work in those depertment which can contact with guests and colleagues, however, the HR manager tell me that you don't have any work experience you should go to housekeeping department to learn the most important things, because room revenue is the primary revenue source. As a result, I was worked at housekeeping over two months, and I have a essential knowledge about room operating, and I realize that team work is extremely important, and communication will help me avoid mistakes and coporate with others. All in all, hotel work is full of challenge, but it is funny for me!
