The role required coordinating the collaboration of a wide range of clinicians to facilitate the adaptation of the framework to be culturally and practically applicable to Aotearoa New Zealand and its diverse population.Previously completed a six month contract working within the UK's National Health Service (NHS) to provide administrative support for projects spanning across North West London. I worked as a Project Manager within the Mental Health and Addictions clinical team in central Auckland, where I was responsible for coordinating the implementation of ‘Zero Suicide’. Zero Suicide is an internationally developed and utilised model designed to improve care received by those most vulnerable to suicide, and has been proven to reduce rates of suicide and suicide attempts in organisations across the world.• Project Management: Managed a complex, directorate-wide project.• Co-Governance: Worked alongside a unique governance group, consisting of senior clinicians and directors, and external volunteers with their own lived experience of suicide ideation and/or bereavement.• Presenting: Conducted a series of presentations across our services to introduce staff to the project, presented bi-annual updates to the directorate's senior leadersh at, presented virtually at an Australian Mental Health conference.• Training Development: Coordinated the development of a comprehensive staff training programme, which included managing a series of working groups attended by senior clinicians.• Surveys: Developed and conducted a survey of nearly 180 staff to identify areas to focus on in our training rollout.
