Through training videos,1:1, and group conversations, Buoy Advance Directives will empower and educate people in whatever setting they feel comfortable. After years in healthcare, I've witnessed the pain that exists for loved ones and healthcare providers when an advance directive is needed and not present. I created these services as way to prevent those situations. I am driven by a vision of an educated and empowered patient population, and a world where decision makers don't have to guess.

My goal is to empower people, both in and out of the healthcare setting, to understand and complete their advance directive. This document improves your sense of well being, peace of mind, and after some time thinking about it, the paperwork can typically be completed in the time it takes to enjoy a cup of coffee. I have created a 1 hour training that can be tailored to any audience, to help them understand and complete their own advance directives if they would like to. I believe if more of us complete these documents sooner, and have conversations about who we trust to make medical decisions for us, and the type of care we would want, it will transform healthcare.
