Born and Raised on The Outer Banks of North Carolina. Hospitality is the go to Career on these Vacation Destination Villages. So I hoped right into Food and Beverage. Started as a Bust Boy, making My way Up to Serving, Up to Bartending. With In a few Years I was Front of House Manager. But with the Expenses of Living in such a Beautiful Tourist Resort Destination One Job wasn't enough. I filled My calendar up as much as possible. Working for a few different Off Site Catering Companies that I was referred to by My Current Restaurant Owners. These fun Events sparked the interest of not only Catering Events, but also the over all Planning and Coordinating of Events. With a few Years of experience, and lots of training from Local Wedding Planners and Wedding Vendors. I Opened My very own Wedding Planning and Day Of Coordination Business in 2013. I put My Mind, My Time, and My Energy into the Wedding Industry & Decor/Design on The Outer Banks of NC. I Succeeded Past My Goals & Dreams. And for that I will be Forever Grateful for ALL of the Amazing Brides, Clients, Opportunities and Doors God has Opened. When Covid19 made its way to the little Villages of The Outer Banks, the Industry took a very big hit. Luckily I had worked in Housekeeping very part-time in the past, and was able to break into that Industry with Weddings being put on Hold do to the Virus. I worked My way up the latter in the Housekeeping Industry, and Am glad I did. And am glad for all I learned and accomplished in such a short yet busy time. One Day this Summer I was in My Wedding Office in Nags Head, and I thought to Myself, “What’s Next?” Now at the age of 32 Years Old, I think its time to get away from The Outer Banks and Travel the World. I Put My Mind to it!, I Traveled down to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Attended Courses at Blue Water Crew Training USA. I’m am so excited to officially be a Certified SUPER YACHT STEWARD! I have received My STCW, Highfield Level 2 Award in Food Safety at Sea, Vessel Personnel with Designated Security Duties. Passed My ENG1. These Life Journey haven't exactly been easy, but I am Grateful for it All! I’m Excited for this New Chapter in My Life! To take all I have learned in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, take these Skills off Land and into the Yachting World. I know I have a lot to Learning, but I am Willing, Eager, and Excited. The Outer Banks will always be Home for Me.With Weddings still being My First Love.
