Venue sales and coordination for the brand new Solis Hall in Wellen Park. I have been creating SOP’s for all necessary processes from prospecting to client interface, vendor agreements and event planning logistical processes. I synchronize operations with the Wellen Park community events needs.

Six years ago, I began working for the owners of The Hudson in an empty building without heat or electricity, and only an old Mac and a Keurig. With my networking and knowledge of the event industry, I built the business from the ground up to a thriving event venue. I met with construction subs during the remodel for construction planning in what an event venue needed. Five months after I was hired, we opened the business to the public, and have been a growing venue for 5.5 years. Working for a small business means you wear every hat imaginable, from marketing to human resources to sales to invoicing to vendor relations, social media, inventory, building maintenance, payroll, and implementation of the events. What you don't know, you learn. Our first year, we ended with 56 paid events and will finish 2022 with 116 paid events. Even in 2020, we even managed a profit. In the first quarter of 2023 we will be opening a new venue and Airbnb set. With countless sparkling reviews and solid vendor relations, I ran this event venue with the help of my small team and contract labor. I created training manuals and trained my staff in sales, event planning and building maintenance from my previous years of experience in sales, event planning, venue management and building maintenance. I set all the pricing, rules and regulations, templates for organization and work flow and contracts/agreements with clients and vendors as well as created a planning database for all our clients.

Real Estate Personnel fills temporary positions for residential and commercial management companies. I started with them back in June 2006, and they placed me with Midland Management for a temp to hire assistant manager position. I worked for Midland Management until December 2008. Additionally, I found my position with Weigand Omega Management through them. They continue to place me in real estate positions around the Wichita area to this day.

Board member for philanthropic organization that supports local children's charities. The club is suited for young professionals who wish to volunteer their time and resources for specific children's charities in our community. We are just getting it off the ground, so if you know of anyone interested in networking with other young professionals, while we actively participate in our community, please let me know. My role is to direct the social celebrations for the club. Additionally, I have taken much of the responsibilities of leading the startup, alongside the president.

Event Planner Extrodinaire.

On site, Commercial Property Manager of a 220,000 sq ft office building in downtown Wichita. Between the owner's efforts and my on-site presence in the building we helped to overturn tenant perception and citywide reputation by our coordinated efforts to complete deferred maintenance issues and remodel huge projects such as the parking garage, HVAC systems, four elevators, sky bridge, and multiple floors of interior space. Additionally, I coordinated several successful events for tenants, brokers, and city officials. The daily administrative work also included accounts payable and receivable.

Event Manager, designer and coordinator for downtown Event Venue. Planned social and corporate events such as weddings, holiday parties, proms, employee appreciation, art openings, fundraisers, business lunches, and corporate meetings. I oversaw website development, managed trade show booths, contract management, customer service, sales, inventory, vendor management, as well as all event staff.

I collected and posted rent, published and maintained monthly/annual budget, P & L, and various other reports, project management for corporate office, audited resident ledgers, coded invoices, notary public, trained in KHRC’s housing guidelines, sales and leasing, and supervised staff and directed maintenance operations. Started as an assistant manager and was promoted after a year to property manager.
