After achieving B.Eng (Hons) in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering I moved to New Zealand where I worked for 4 years with Maritime New Zealand as a Nautical Analyst (Naval Architect). In 2008 I move to Norway to work with DNV. I started as a trainee working in three separate sections at DNV Head Office before spending 6 months in the field training as a surveyor and auditor. From 2010-2012 I was been based at DNV Head Office in Management Systems where I help to provide support to DNV auditors with regards to ISM, ISPS and ISO for the maritime industry. I enjoyed providing support to both DNV auditors and DNV's customers. From July 2012 - May 2017 I was based in DNV GL Houston where I was responsible for conducting audits and surveys on ships, shipping companies and on rigs.I currently work as HSQE Manager at Malakoff Limited in Shetland where I am responsible for the overall Health, Safety Environment and Quality aspects of Malakoff's business.Specialities: Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Systems. Class and Statutory Rules, ISM, ISPS, ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 for the maritime industry, good communication skills.
