I'm originally from Vancouver, Washington and am pursuing my undergraduate degree in sociology and religion at Pacific Lutheran University. In my time at PLU I have grown a deep appreciation for the work that sociologists have done and am excited to contribute to the field. With my education in religious studies, I hope to research the sociological affects of religion on the United States, both in the past and in the present.Through my time working in customer service and as an educational facilitator I have developed excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills. My own working experience has taught me to be flexible and creative when finding solutions to problems that arise.My personal interests include practicing different art techniques and making art education more accessible to all ages. As the vice president of PLU's art collective I help plan and teach art workshops with the intention of making a space for artists and non-artists to try new things.
