I am a multi award-winning journalist, presenter, and producer with a global impact. I am also the founder of @TrackTots a groundbreaking company that delivers educational athletics sessions to children under seven. All our sessions align with the Early Years Framework. In its first six months Track Tots has successfully conducted over 500 sessions in the North West.Perhaps best known for my work on the BBC, including the multi-award-winning podcast, "Sista Collective," the first home-grown podcast led and hosted by Black British women.My career has led me to roles as a Senior Sports Social Media Editor at The Telegraph, presenter at BBC Radio Merseyside, and journalist at BBC London Sport, Sport Online, and Commonwealth Games Radio. As a video journalist for BBC 5 Live Digital Pilots, my award-winning work on the Sextakeover and Mumtakover projects highlighted the untold stories of northern women, giving underrepresented voices a platform on BBC News and Current Affairs.A former GB junior athlete and NCTJ-trained senior journalist with multi-country shoot, edit, reporting, and broadcasting experience, I worked as a TV and Radio reporter for British Forces Broadcasting, living and reporting from Kuwait, Gibraltar, Belize, the Falkland Islands, and Afghanistan. During my time there, she co-hosted and presented an award-winning 12-hour non-stop takeover on BFBS and BBC Radio 1. including TV and Radio reporting from Afghanistan, Gibraltar, Belize, Kuwait, and the Falklands. Awards and nominations include the BBC Radio and Music Award, British Podcast Award, Audio and Radio Industry Awards (ARIAS) nominee, and Ministry of Defence - Civilian medal for broadcasting services in Afghanistan.
