have conducted a small ecommerce business selling made to order knitwear, hand knit patterns, and illustrations. All my goods are of my own designs and created solely by my hands. My shop has offered a variety of knitwear from accessories to sweaters. Furthermore, I have done many custom, freelance work in the form of knitwear, patterning and graphic design. I am currently focusing on individual graphic design commissions, self publishing patterns, and submitting design work for pattern publications.

At the Yarn Underground, I maintain the shop floor to standard, help customers troubleshoot their hand knit projects, create store knitwear samples and patterns sold in the shop. Additionally, I help create marketing tools using the Adobe Creative suite, update online presence through blog posts, and help produce a functioning e-commerce for both the Yarn Underground and Palouse Yarn Company.As an instructor, I teach small, intensive classes for beginner and intermediate knitters to create various knitwear from scarves to sweaters.

During my 6-month internship at Seven Gauge Studios, I assisted with production and design within the knit housewares label. A major part of my time was allotted to producing fair-isle knits on a domestic, flatbed knitting machine using Design-a-Knit software. Additionally, I was given the opportunity to design fair-isle pattern work within the collection and create mood boards for upcoming seasons.
