In leading the company's people and culture strategy I identified business needs and limitations, aligned them with the brand’s vision and worked with cross-functionally with other departments to drive favorable results in visibility, growth and profit. Served as strategic advisor to leadership team on people-centric issues and served as an employee champion and change agent. By assessing and anticipating people-related needs, I developed and integrated solutions that would modernize systems, streamline processes, improve the employee experience and move business objectives forward. With a special interest in employee and community engagement, I developed and implemented a strategy for corporate social impact which used employee volunteerism as the structure to build social good into a profitable and productive business strategy on both the corporate and independent contractor levels.

As the HR & Marketing Specialist I used my experience and business acumen to identify ways to promote and maintain brand relevance in the face of competition. Tasks involved researching and seeking out new business opportunities, creating business plans and staying on top of industry-specific trends. With the business development team, I helped to generate and manage incoming and outgoing referrals globally. I also worked one-on-one with the sales team to identify growth opportunities and build strategies to maximize existing opportunities. I also developed my HR generalist knowledge by serving as the core HR function for the company, developing, re-structuring and refining HR processes. Key tasks included streamlining the onboarding and offboarding processes, managing health benefits, continuous policy maintenance, compliance upkeep, personnel management, and managing other critical HR support systems.
