I am a private Occupational Therapist with a special interest in mental health and TBI's. I am skilled in the areas of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Return to Work Planning, Cognitive Rehabilitation, Case Management Services, and Prolonged Exposure Therapy. I also work in Long Term Care facilities improving the quality of life of residents by addressing seating & mobility, falls risk assessments and intervention, basic hand therapy, dementia care as well as end of life care. I enjoy working in a team of professionals to attain mutual, client centered goals. My love for occupational therapy comes from the power of meaningful occupations: everything and anything a person does during the day that makes them feel fulfilled. When we do what we love, we thrive and find wellness within. My practice is based on a psychotherapeutic approach since our thought patterns play an important role in the way we carry ourselves. I believe in recovery, the small conscious changes we can make, as well as the power of choice and accountability.
