I have a vision for transforming our online platforms into cutting-edge and customer-focused solutions. I leverage my system thinking skills to design and implement the strategy and roadmap for our marketing technology, e-commerce and online customer support. I lead an agile team of talented and passionate developers, designers and analysts, and foster a positive work environment where they can thrive and grow. We manage the online experiences from demand generation to e-commerce to online customer service. I work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and expectations, and deliver innovative and user-centric solutions that exceed them. I also ensure the architecture and performance of our online systems are scalable, secure and reliable, and aligned with the best practices in the industry.

Since 2007, I have led the team that manages our corporate websites, e-commerce, digital advertising, and email marketing. As a systems thinker, I’m a bridge between IT and Marketing, ensuring teams are implementing the right tools and getting the most out of them. I help develop marketing strategies with a focus on making marketing measurable, so we know what works and stop doing what doesn’t.I have extensive experience with developing strategies, roadmaps, project plans and requirements. My team architects and builds marketing automation journeys, customer portals, e-commerce solutions, on-boarding and product replacement journeys, and web content management systems.This position evolved into my next role at the company.

As the Collaborative Technology Manager, I drove the adoption of Teams, SharePoint, Yammer, Planner, OneDrive, and all other facets of Microsoft o365. Daktronics was an early adopter of the O365 platform and we achieved high levels of adoption for SharePoint Online, Teams, Yammer, and Planner. I enjoy being on the cutting edge of technology but hate repetitive tasks. This combination leads me to look for ways to automate with new tools and improved processes. I love sharing my discoveries with others so that they can enjoy the benefits of new technology and automation as well. In 2017, I saw the potential for Microsoft Teams to innovate workplace communication and started working on plans to roll it out to Daktronics. We started with a pilot group of early adopters and built on their success. Because of our company's early adoption of Teams and cloud-based tools, we were able to easily switch to remote work in March 2020.This role was concurrent with my Marketing Technology role. As that role grew, these responsibilities were handed off to other team mates.

Developed personas, gathered requirements and created functional design documents. Wrote test cases, recruited test subjects and conducted usability tests. During this time, I worked with the development team to create web based tools for our company's sales pipeline, time management system, corporate intranet, and a customer-facing digital billboard management system. Some of these systems were in service for 15+ years with minimal additional investment.This position evolved into my next role at the company.
