I am a Design, Housing, and Merchandising major with an emphasis in merchandising along with Marketing. Since I can remember I have always dreamed of working in the fashion industry but wasn't sure what part of the industry I wanted to focus on. During my showroom internship at the Dallas Market Center I knew that working in this side of the industry is what I found the most fulfilling. I love that it allows me to build relationships with clients and help provide them a service to allow them to succeed in their businesses. The relationships I’ve created with clients in the various sales roles I’ve worked throughout my career have become loyal friendships after leaving those positions. I’ve worked in retail since I was 16 with my first job being at my local American Eagle Outfitters. I quickly got promoted and was awarded top loyalty sales various times. I then went to work at a local sole proprietorship boutique called “Pecks Lodge” where I worked full time for a semester after graduating high school early and before starting college. Upon starting college I started working at another sole proprietorship called Jo & Co. as their Sales and Social Media manager before starting my summer internship this past summer. My first two languages are English and Spanish and I’m proficient in a few other languages. This allows me to communicate with more people and build connections easier without many language barriers. I plan to graduate Oklahoma State University with a 3.8 GPA or higher in the fall of 2022. Upon completing my undergrad, I plan on pursuing a career in sales.
