Working within a multidisciplinary policing unit I contributed significantly to the management of prolific and violent offenders, and also a pilot public safety initiative focussing on suspected sex offenders going through the judicial system. Utilising a range of public and in-house software, I managed and maintained a database that detailed court hearings, intelligence reports, changes in circumstances, and contact with suspects. I ensured comprehensive and integrated information was maintained regarding subjects, to support the management of sexual crime offenders across partner organisations. I prepared, delivered and appropriately shared highly sensitive reports to support public safety and proportionate management of suspects.

I held responsibility for investigations from the point of interview, subsequent planning and strategy setting, investigating lines of enquiry and completion of case papers through to presenting evidence at court. I managed a significant caseload, ensuring prioritisation of deadlines and objectives, consistently delivering the highest standards of evidence to support subsequent convictions. On a daily basis I reported to and briefed senior detectives on the number of prisoners in custody, prioritising actions and ensuring the most appropriate resource dealt with the relevant subject.
