I have a keen interest in business analytics, strategy and implementation and project management within the IT sector.I am currently studying a Bachelor of Psychological Science, with the intention of doing my Honours and PhD to go into Research. I would like to focus within the fields of suicide prevention, trauma, and digital health, especially youth and adolescence. I would like to incorporate my background in the technological space into my research as well.I have completed my Postgraduate studies in a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration, and previously, a Bachelor of Information Technology (major: Business Technology) from the University of Newcastle. From here, I have been able to gain knowledge through various IT systems, and gain knowledge within the financial sector of Health in strategy implementation and digital transformation. I have also had experience in the Defence Aerospace capacity sector as well. I am also proud to have had experience mentoring STEM to young females in schools. This is a deep passion of mine to ensure there are equal opportunities for everyone of all ages.I am told that I am passionate and an active advocate for the inclusion and diversity of others. I stand up for people with disabilities and mental ill-health. I am a lived and living expertise mental health advisor within the suicide prevention and mental health sector on consultation/advisory groups. It allows individuals to have a voice and assist with strategies, consultations, workshops and other educational opportunities. It has opened up the way to build networks and many connections along the way. The other sectors that I focus in fighting for advocacy and change are in the areas of family, domestic and sexual violence. I feel that its pertinent to bring about awareness and education to the wider community.All of these need adequate attention from a Federal Government's perspective to look at it from the voices of people with lived and living experience, providers and government agencies, all working together.
