Supervisory responsibility for multiple officers in a high stress work environment where safety and attention to detail is paramount. Managed secure processing of confidential paperwork pertaining to the facility and detainees. In collaboration with other Senior Officers, directly managed access control of highly secure and sensitive areas of the facility. Deployed facility safety policies and procedures enabling a safe and secure facility for both staff and detainees. In collaboration with other section leaders, supervised incident tracking, documentation, and widespread distribution of lessons learned to continuously improve safety and security policies. Developed and deployed training and evaluation plans for all subordinates to ensure proper policy and procedure standards are achieved across the facility.

Direct and indirect responsibility over ward constituents as well managing data within government systems. Maintained and improved relationships between constituents and the Alderman. Key contributor during multiple community events hosted by the 30th ward by providing logistical support, project execution, and material distribution.

This Was a Summer Seasonal Position. Began career as entry level logistics staff culminating to my current role as Operations Director. I lead cross-functional teams in a resource constrained environment to ensure our area of responsibility is above standard for our customers. Staff hiring and development, staff scheduling, logistical operations of all internal and external programs utilizing the property. Responsible for 25+ staff and over a million dollars’ worth of equipment, supply, and major end items such as vehicles and facilities.  Coordinate with other camp directors as well as other department heads to assure smooth camp transitions.  Manage and counsel peers to ensure tasks are performed in a timely and accurate manner. Assesses performance and conduct counseling sessions with cadets, campers, and employees to document behavior and work quality. Directly managed internal/external -campus security and safety operations.
