Mission Green Buildings was an engineering firm focused on delivering sustainability in the built environment. It has since been acquired by Integral Group. During my summer position, I assisted the Business Development Specialist in drafting proposals in response to RFPs. I created many different project pages, resumes, and templates to help streamline the proposal creation process. Additionally, I wrote a sponsor article for SAB's Alberta Focus Fall 2018 issue and developed a new website that better highlights the company's past projects, the team, and their values (www.missiongreenbuildings.com).

REC Media is a small advertising agency that specializes in raising funds, through advertising sales, for community arenas across Canada. During my summer term, I conducted a nation-wide research project, collecting over 30,000 pieces of data concerning digital advertising in arenas and other sports establishments. I then turned the data into business strategy insights. Additionally, I helped administer corporate campaigns throughout similar facilities located in Saskatchewan and Ontario, handling the placement of rink-board and wall-mural advertisements.

The Main Dish is a health-orientated restaurant with both dine-in and grab-and-go options. The company sponsors multiple Olympic athletes, providing them with an easy food option, that remains beneficial towards their health and training. Due to the casualness of the establishment, there were not any set positions, therefore, my responsibilities varied on the current demands of the restaurant and its guests, requiring me to observe, prioritize, and take initiative. My daily duties were everything from (but not limited to) greeting customers, taking orders at the till, running food to serving food from the grab-and-go deli, cleaning, and restocking.
