Reservations Executive

Graphic designer of two national fishing magazines (National Australian Fishing Annual & Barra Bass and Bream). I work closely with the Managing Editor to achieve high-quality print and digital magazine design and production. Together, we develop concepts and prepare layouts of the print design before it is sent for approval. As a liason with Print & Production, we ensure high-quality artwork is delivered on schedule and to the correct specifications. Furthermore, I assist with the development, updating and management of digital marketing activities; including but not limited to: websites, e-magazines, social media sites, e-newsletters, videos and YouTube.

Trusted with managerial duties (opening and closing of site) and responsibilities of cash handling (float and safe). Other requirements such as filing, paperwork, maintaining sufficient cleanliness and the ability to establish strong relationships with customers and colleagues were traits I greatly enjoyed and excelled in.

Used the ability of both personal skill and Adobe suite to design and produce magazine spreads for Darwin Life Magazine. Additionally, I photograph and edit images for brand development and sales promotions within the company. I have further gained the ability to communicate over phone and email to meet strict deadlines with a professional time management plan.

Ability to use personal knowledge and initiative to assist customers. Assisting in regular store stocktaking, relaying and pricing of stock. Excellent telephone manner and cash handling. Ability to work effectively as a team member.
