I would like to connect with elementary school and schools in secondary education (teachers, school leaders, administrators, IB'ers) who want to work with internationalization and global citizenship. As of September 1, 2021, there is an obligation on schools to embed citizenship in their policies. The programs of Nuffic and possible subsidies can help schools with that. Op 3 februari 2021 kreeg mijn 8-jarige dochter de diagnose Diabetes type 1. Dit is een chronische, levenslange auto-immuunziekte die 24/7 management vereist. De bloedsuiker moet stabiel gehouden worden. Er zijn 42 factoren die van invloed zijn op je bloedsuiker. Normaalgesproken maakt het lichaam zelf insuline aan om dit te reguleren. Een Diabetes Type 1 patiënt maakt zelf geen insuline meer aan en moet daarom x aantal keer per dag insuline toedienen. Dit gebeurt via injecties of via een pompje. Geen pauzes, geen vakantiedagen, 24/7 management is vereist om mijn dochter gezond en in leven te houden.
