I'm the Tax Partner of Dason & Dason, Chartered Accountants with over 15 years experience in the field of taxation including tax compliance, tax advisory, tax audit and tax investigations. Over the years, I have advised many local and international clients on Malaysian taxation and other business compliance matters. Prior to my experience in the field of taxation, I had working experience as an Auditor with one of the Big 4 audit firms.Apart from the above, I also have experience in Company Secretarial compliance, Forensic Accounting, Business Valuations and as an Expert Witness in litigation cases.I also regularly conduct seminars on taxation for the Malaysian Institute of Accountants as well as conduct talks on invitation basis for large MNC companies and corporations.Apart from the above, I'm acurrently serving as Chairman of the Southern Branch of the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM) and a Committee Member of the CTIM Public Practice Committee as well as the Tax Audit and Investigation Working Group. In my role as the Chairman of the Southern Branch of CTIM, I had participated in several dialogues with the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia as well as being invited to be a Panelist in the Annual Tax Seminars organised by the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia.Prior to my active role in the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia, I had served as a Committee Member in the Malaysian Institute of Accountants Johor Regional Committee from July 2014 to June 2017.
