I am a self-motivated problem solver who is passionate about critical thinking and solving big problems! I enjoy copious amounts of responsibility to satisfy my work induced appetite. I never shy away from a challenge and I always lean on my strengths when first tackling something but I'm never afraid to ask for help. I currently work at Samsung Austin Semiconductor as an Application Manager where I oversee the management of applications we host onsite. This involves managing a team of engineers responsible for improvements to our applications and identifying high value projects that we can develop to streamlines processes for Samsung. As our applications grow, we continue to meet new customers and learn new ways to leverage our applications and better conform to our customer's growing expectations. We have helped teams all across the organization get established on our platform and are always available for any problems they may face while using our tools. I also double as the Scrum Master for our team so I'm always identifying ways to increase our internal efficiency while delivering products our stakeholders can trust and enjoy. While I aim to always meet business objectives, I take the most pride in my employee's personal and professional growth. I believe that a happy team creates amazing results so my team's happiness almost always prevails over incoming objectives and business needs. I come from an Electrical Engineering background so I also have experience designing, verifying, and validating circuits. I have completed many projects which include autonomous rovers using logic controllers, radio frequency circuits, microcontrollers that work in tandem with peripheral devices, LabVIEW based capacitance measurement systems, and many specific circuits in between. A majority of these projects were done in teams which is preferred for me but I can work efficiently alone or as a member of a team. I'll end this section with one last tidbit of information which is that I'm just passionate about engineering in general. Regardless of what I do, I enjoy the challenge that comes from solving weird problems but I enjoy helping people even more. The satisfaction that comes from helping someone solve a problem or learn something new tops any problem I could ever solve!
