Developing team members to build a stronger materials and logistics department. Selected Accomplishments: Successfully implementation of Process improvement plan based in the Schneider Production System (TPS), improving score in all Materials Functions.  Days of inventory reduction by 20% (10 days) and 43% Reduction of unhealthy stock. Through Kaizen events and Supplier Negotiation. Airfreight Cost Reduction by $480K (DMAIC Strategic Sourcing Project) SAP Deployment, Preparation and Go Live.

• Responsible for coordinating the materials functions (Shipping, Receiving, Warehouse and material handling). Developing, implementing and maintaining policies, procedures and material control systems, hosting continuous improvement projects plant wide.Selected Accomplishments: Improved Service, reduced Cost and gain value on Sourcing Strategy for Logistics, Transportation and Powered Industrial Vehicles for Materials department.  Eliminate Fake Inventory due to system interface issues (500K usd) and establish control method and procedure (DMAIC Project) WIP Inventory reduction of 360K usd through Kaizen Events (Returns & double bin) Reduce Handling and Weight on containers for welding subassemblies to comply the ergonomic strategy. (Ergonomics Project) Annually Saving projects for $120k usd focused in pallet re-utilization and labels consumption management (Environmental Project) Operational Excellence award 2011

• First line of support for all SAP users; Being familiar with basic SAP functionality including sign-on, personalization, and general navigation; Becoming expert in assigned areas such as Quality Control, Goods Receipt, Warehouse and Kanban management. Supporting local site and other sites through a virtual network. Assisting general users as they become familiar with SAP.Selected Accomplishments: Conducted presentation of Quality Processes Sr. VP in Nashville, TN. Managed strict project timeline successfully by coordinating virtual meeting across time zones and preparing four different facilities. Awarded as People Who Made a Difference due to outstanding participation in the project on 2010.

• Providing quality support to Incoming Inspection. Working with engineers, technicians, supervisors, and floor personnel to resolve day-to-day issues, achieve team objectives, and promote quality principles. • Supplier Certification based on Quality and Logistics Audits.Selected Accomplishments: Suppliers Certified by Supplier Management Audits improving Quality, Commercial terms as well as overall performance. Annually Savings of $220K establishing the Charge for NQC to suppliers. PWMD (People Who Made a Difference) Prize awarded on 2006 and 2008 due to effective negotiation, Supplier Quality and Process Improvement Projects.
