Recognizing the evolving landscape of online journalism, I aimed to create a more immersive and interactive platform for our readers.To generate awareness and anticipation for the upcoming Arias Journal website, I orchestrated a compelling webinar on LinkedIn. This event garnered significant attention, with an impressive attendance of over 100 enthusiastic participants. The engagement and positive response served as a testament to the anticipation surrounding our digital evolution.Building on the momentum generated by the webinar, we strategically waited until we had cultivated a robust subscriber base, surpassing the 100 mark. With a community of dedicated supporters in place, we successfully launched the Arias Journal website. This strategic move not only marked a pivotal moment in our editorial journey but also opened new avenues for content delivery, audience interaction, and community building.

The Arias Journal traces back to its roots as an Instagram page, where we initially disseminated vital COVID-19 updates and essential county and city-wide information among family and friends. As we evolved, recognizing the need for a more direct and expansive communication channel, we transitioned to utilizing Gmail for a monthly email service offered to our subscribers at no cost.To sustain the provision of free monthly emails and allocate resources effectively, we pioneered a funding model centered around advertising. Our platform became a conduit for small businesses, effectively promoting them through advertisements embedded within our emails, while also showcasing and boosting other social media accounts.What began as a modest presence with just 10 Instagram followers has grown organically, transforming into a community of 50-70 dedicated email subscribers. This journey from a grassroots Instagram initiative to a thriving email-based communication hub exemplifies our commitment to providing valuable information while fostering connections within a growing audience.

In the City of San Bernardino's Older Californian Nutrition Program, I work as a Recreation Specialist. My job involves planning and carrying out daily activities involving transportation and preparation of meals for seniors. The Senior nutrition program team create a well-rounded and holistic experience. My role includes engaging with participants, keep and stock inventory, keep detailed records, and the transportation of equipment.

I am responsible for making sure the food is prepared just right and overseeing all related activities. I keep a close eye on county and state regulations, making sure the servings are varied and high-quality.
