With over 25 years of experience in the energy sector, I am Hydrogen Director at Enagás, the leading natural gas transmission company and technical manager of the Spanish gas system. My mission is to foster the development and integration of renewable gases, such as green hydrogen and low carbon gases, into the energy mix, contributing to the decarbonization and sustainability goals of the company and the society.I am a MIT Fellow and hold several credentials and degrees in energy efficiency, project management, engineering, and business. I have a strong background and expertise in oil and gas, midstream engineering, carbon dioxide transport, and renewable gases. I am also an active member and representative of various national and international associations, platforms, and research groups related to the energy industry. As a cofounder of VIRA GAS IMAGING, a technology project that develops portable cameras for natural gas leaks detection, I am passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship. Additionally, I enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge as an associate professor in two prestigious universities in Madrid.
