I am collaborating on engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives focused mainly on reducing operating costs and supporting operational needs.Currently my main activity is leading the production planning team in the daily monitoring and preparation of assortment and distribution plans.

In charge of the Engineering area, composed of Labor Planning, Operational Excellence and Engineering projects.In collaboration with the Planning Supervisor, we update the operational capacity and the labor requirements. Together with the operational leadership team we define the strategy of resources and needs by area. Also we integrate the financial forecast, presenting these results with the customer.For engineering projects we generate business cases based on the improvement proposals made by the operations team, the engineering team and by the client.In operational excellence, our area follows up the implementation of the main project plan. In addition, the focus is to show and analyze the results of productivity and operational time towards the operational leadership team.

Responsible for the ongoing improvement area that was composed of: KPIs, WMS operational support, Operational Excellence and Ongoing improvements Projects.For WMS operational support I was the main contact between the leadership team and IT DHL Central area. In addition, in my work team were two WMS Super users who performed the WMS maintenance referred to virtual process, locations, SKUs, workarea.For KPIs I implemented the template for monthly metrics review and every month, In collaboration with the Metrics coordinador, we integrated the information of every area and completed the final monthly presentation of operational & staffing performance.For Operational Excellence I'm involved in the tracking of an OMS implementation plan in which my direct report, the OMS champion, did the follow up. Personally, I took direct responsibility of Champion for a few weeks to maintain the operative routines of feedback and daily labor planning.The most important part of my role was the engineering projects. Working together with my engineers team, we implemented several quick wins projects and also developed an annual projects pipeline focused on cost reduction, and increasing the operational capacity. My personal activities in the engineering projects included, Autocad Drawing, MODAPTS, Cost Model.

In charge of the engineering department of two different accounts (customers). DHL Operations CSAP and CKD Exportation center (Ford Cuautitlán).In Ford CKD Exportation center (Tultitlan) every year I performed the Ford IEO PO annual resources calculation. In this activity I implemented a new labor calculation with which we could reduce the time to review results for and volume update. Additionally I created an interactive dashboard to show comparatives of labor and volumes scenarios. In the Material Sequencing Center for CSAP (MSC Ford Cuautitlan) I Designed and implemented Layout improvements. Additionally I developed productivity updates based on a predetermined motion time system.In collaboration with the commercial area we presented annual contract efficiencies with CSAP. These annual efficiencies were direct to bill savings and cost avoidance projects. Also I developed designs for new sequencing and warehouse operations for Business Development requirements.

Dedicated to workcell design using the motion economy approach and Blue Print inputs for workstation design. Into my scope were activities like analysis for incorporation of new materials, validation of standard packaging and uses and Implementation and control of changes.The main focus of my activities was the new model launch event in which I was part of the team who performed the balance out SKUs inventory and the tracking of new model parts. Some tools that I used were MODAPTS, Design of workstations. Development of Quality process Sheet (QPS) and Critical to Quality (CTQ).

Responsible for surveying field data for quotes, budgeting, monitoring, execution and delivery of projects, monitoring of manufacturing facilities.Developed an internal format of prospecting, implementation and management objectives. With this new format, the project area was able to follow up activities with current and new clients, being able to achieve significant increases in monthly billing. In charge of project pipeline implementation, quotation and business trading. Negotiation of payment with customers / suppliers, drafting contracts, comparative analysis frameworks, integration of objective opinions for tactical decisions.
