Selected from a competitive pool of 190 applicants to join an eight-month program which includes weekend workshops, individualized mentorship, soft skills development, and hands-on exposure to the legal profession and admissions counselling pursuant to a Juris Doctorate

Created and taught a philosophy course titled "Ethical Issues in Contemporary U.S. Society" for high schools students attending TRIO Upward Bound's six-week summer academic program. Introduced students to prominent ethical theories including Virtue ethics, Deontology, and Consequentialism. Facilitated important discussions on contentious contemporary topics including immigration, abortion, gun violence, and LGBTQ+ rights.

Tutored and advised students through their philosophy coursework. Managed the Philosophy club and planned weekly meetings for a core group of 15+ students. Generated the interest of 35 potential new members to the Philosophy department either as majors, minors, or club members.

Led and facilitated weekly meetings for Lutheran High School students both in-person and on zoom. Fostered a safe space for the teens to explore the religiously contentious topics of politics and sexuality. Managed difficult and emotional conversations and resolved conflicts between opposing ideologies. Researched and participated in the Lutheran faith and practice as a Roman Catholic.

Commended for initiative, persuasiveness, and customer service skills. Managed challenging situations and conflicts caused by upset customers. Recognized five times for signing the most customers to the rewards program per week.
