I was in charge of developing the Android application used by nearly 2,000 agents to register credit applications and payments both online and offline, as well as the one used by debt collectors.My activities and roles included:• Technical lead and development manager of the team.• Android developer.• Code reviewer.• Scrum Master.• Evaluator of emerging trends in IT.• Mentor of the team on new technologies and frameworks.-The position was internally known as IT Research Manager.

Researched and evaluated emerging trends in IT; specially mobile technologies, and developed proof of concept applications using several programming languages, including Java, Python and C#. Among them:• The basis for the Android application used to register credit applications and payments.• A widget for online signature verification.I also introduced the development teams to SVN, unit testing, continuous integration, Scrum, and performed the role of Scrum Master.-The position was internally known as IT Researcher.

Implemented the EDIFACT parser used by the alert system of the INM (Mexico's government unit that supervises immigration) to analyze flight manifests and travel documentation. Also trained a team and developed on various other Java SE and Java EE projects for the private sector as well as government.
