Served as a senior-level Learning & Development Business Partner, strategizing and executing many high-profile projects for BMS's Research & Development division. Highlights include:* Collaborated with key BMS thought leaders & executives to analyze business needs & develop innovative & practical solutions related to Clinical Program Operational Overviews, Strategic Options Analysis, Global Patient Advocacy, Risk-Based Monitoring, and Overviews for C-Suite management. Led marketing & communications efforts for enterprise-level Quality, Mentoring, and Employee Resource Group Initiatives. Saved the company hundreds of thousands of dollars in development costs by leveraging in-house resources. Engaged to assist in the development of protocol training, but the span of projects and responsibilities quickly grew to key roles in the planning, design, development & project management of a number of high profile projects. I was eventually joined the company as a full-time salaried consultant. Highlights included:* Worked with physicians & other senior staff to develop a best practices workshop for clinical investigators new to oncology studies. Workshop was very successful and widely acclaimed and still in use today.* Led and project managed an international, cross-functional team in the design, development & deployment of a global Clinical Investigator Training curriculum. Consistently exceeded the expectations of the client. The final program was widely acclaimed & set standards for the design of subsequent programs. * Developed numerous protocol training courses, job aids, templates & web-based training modules for major clinical studies.* Coached & mentored several team members in project management and instructional design. Resulted in a net increase in production & effectiveness of the team.

This was essentially a consulting assignment in a salaried wrapper. Accountable for the immediate and long-term learning needs of over 800 exchange members & staff related to implementing a new trading platform. Highlights included:* Developed the ERP training strategy and plans to deploy a new exchange trading system supporting the Securities Reg NMS (National Market System). * Established and rolled out "Amex University," a combination learning portal and Learning Management System in support of exchange members & staff. This included sourcing the LMS, getting CIO approval and funding, and implementing it in less than 90 days. * Authored the business and technical requirements for creating two system training labs. Developed the innovative solution of bringing the classroom to the exchange floor by outfitting one of the trading posts with a training environment and access to the LMS.

Led the development of investor education programs for existing clients and the general public. Highlights included:* Worked closely with the Compliance Department to conduct a comprehensive analysis for developing a comprehensive e-Learning curriculum for basic and advanced online investor education.* Partnered closely with Legal Compliance to ensure materials complied with all industry regulatory requirements.* Planned, coordinated, and successfully implemented a nationwide webcast for a new product launch. It was recognized and lauded by the company's president for its success.* Managed a $1.7 million budget for the planning, coordination & execution of trade shows & other special events.
