- Sales desk kick-off: Started a sales desk, as the account manager, under the umbrella of the Board of Directors of Arca International Group. Accomplished. - Opened +400 accounts and +US$ 20mm in assets under management, including the accounts in all the vehicles- Account management operations: received/transferred securities and funds from third parties, through Latinclear, Euroclear, Pershing, Caja Venezolana de Valores- Compliance: 1.- Conducted due diligence on clients (know your client policy). Reviewing all the documents presented and identifying the final beneficial owner, economic capacities, and tearing up legal structures;2.- Attended several trainings organized by the compliance officer from Puerto Rico on FATCA, OFAC, BSA, PEP clients, Basel Treaties and AML- Legal (assets) structure setting: guided clients to establish legal structures for Wealth Management, including Panamanian Foundations and Trusts; the objectives were tax planning and wealth protection for and from family members- Risk Management: rebalancing portfolios, analyzing the bonds issuers and delivering info to clients; from the bank side, mitigated the reputational risk by filtering the clients and collecting as much info as possible, and Operational Risk, coordinating the transferring of funds and securities
