Jesús Germán is Corporate Security Manager at Cortelco Systems Puerto Rico Inc. from 2010 to the present, in this role leads Cortelco’s Information Security Team, Consulting and MSSP services. Prior to joining Cortelco, German served as General Manager of Bizion CxA from 2006 to 2010. In this role, he was responsible for strategy, engineering and product development for the company. From 1998 to 2006 served as Engineer IV at Verizon Dominicana, Emevenca Internacional, GBM Dominicana and others. Mr. German is a results-driven professional with over 15 years of combined experience in the Information Security Industry designing architectures and managing security controls such as Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems, Firewalls/Endpoints Detection & Response, Database Protection, Virtualization. Risk Assessment, Continuous Vulnerability and Remediation Program, Incident Response, Cloud well architecture for financial and healthcare industry based on complianceHe received an Engineering Degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from the Santo Domingo Institute of Technology (INTEC) and holds AWS Solution Architect Certification, Palo Alto Networks Security Engineer, Tenable Vulnerability Management Program (TVM), CyberArk Privileges Access Management (PAM), Trellix certifications in Network Security, SOAR, Risk & Compliance Management, SIEM, Data Protection, System Security, among others. Member ISACA Puerto Rico Chapter’s Board of Directors.
