As a quality control manager (transmissions plant), I have three areas assigned to me; special assignments, quality and control. Among the main responsibilities of my position are to define the annual business plan, present the results in the monthly reports to executives, vice-presidents and the company's president, draw up the strategy for the implementation of investment projects and actively participate in the scope of the objectives of each of the areas under my charge, as well as encourage participation in voluntary programs such as quality circles, kaizen and BQ awards. The detail of the areas that I manage are described as follows:Special assignments:• New model and location• Pollution analysisQuality:• Implementation of the ISO 9001: 2015 quality management system.• QA; control and monitoring of change points in production processes, root cause analysis on outflows, development and implementation of the G-PACV methodology.• Market quality; monitoring of the results of guarantees in the North American market: Canada, Mexico and the USA, analysis of market problems and customer feedback, as well as manufacturing areas.• Specification control; notification of design changes, issuance of CRFs, integrity control of the specifications systems and ensuring that the correct information is provided to the production departments.Control:• Control and application of safety and environmental systems for the quality division.• Budget control and application.• Management of investment projects.• Control and application of calibration system for measuring instruments.• Manpower control for the quality division.

Since October 1st, 2017 Honda de México-Transmissions Plant made some organizational changes in order to be prepared for next coming models. So I was assigned to be the product engineering group leader (coordinator) due to my expertise in mass production quality tests. As PE coordinator I am in charge of managing two main sub groups; PE that covers market quality information (collect information from dealer about quality problems and feedback the mass production sections), Product engineering testing (endurance test, material mix test, full load test, destructive test, etc), Market analysis (make complex and deeper investigations about market quality problems to find root cause), spec criteria (make design changes, CRF documents, BOM, Quality standards, etc) and the second sub group is new model which is in charge of follow new products maturation plan making tests to parts in laboratory to feedback suppliers, make CBU (completed built unit) endurance test, bench test and report in new model events.As additional activities, I have been in charge of following investment projects, present quality division reports to vice presidents and president.

At Honda Celaya (transmissions plant), I am responsible for coordinanting the mass production quality and product engineering sections, where the main purpose is to ensure and maintain a high level of quality in our processes and final product, since new model stages to mass production. There are four main sections under my control; functional inspections (hydraulic pressure in dyno, feeling test in vehicle and NVH), complex analisys for customer complaints and in house problems (parts failures, disassembly, endurance test), destructive test to give feedback about fuction and material in new model stage (product engineering) as well as customer plant quality window. At Hutchinson Automotive (Hoses plant) I was responsible to control improvement change points of processes, a hard floor job was needed in order to develop high skills to design processes to obtain a mass production and new projects high performance.Daily activities and projects:1.- Generate production procedures: process sheets, process standards, working methodologies, control plans, PFMEA, SPC.2.- Define and apply standard work such as; ballancing cells, time and movements studies, lean manufacturing, kanban, kaizen and design of layout in Autocad.3.- Process improvement adding new methods and pokayokes.4.- Chrysler new products development.

At Yachiyo Mexico Manufacturing, I was responsible for coordinanting sunroof processes at two stages; launch new project and mass production. I was involved since the beginning of machine installation, so it was needed layout designing, document creation (standard operation, check list,) and define a proper quality control of our processes due to yachiyo main quality control is carried out at gemba (floor).Daily activities and projects:1.- Sunroof production line coordinator2.- Support to quality department generating and stablishing parts quality standards.3.- Management and training for new associates in sunroof lines.4.- Generate production procedures: process sheets, process standards, working methodologies, control plans, PFMEA, SPC.5.- Define and apply standard work such as; ballancing cells, time and movements studies, lean manufacturing, kanban, kaizen and design of layout in Autocad.6.- Supplier quality assurance as an audit in USA.
