For over twenty-five years I have developed my career in iron, coal, gold and aggregate industries, covering the activities from exploration to the production, evolving strong relationships with all stakeholders. In the iron industries I did all my professional practices, including my degree thesis: Loading and Hauling Simulation in Cerro Bolivar Mine, Stochastic Model. (Feb/83 – Agt/83).In the iron industries I worked in the Mining Planning (short and long term) with special emphasis in the design and application of Planning and Quality Control software with Implications in the geological models of Cerro Bolivar and Cerro San Isidro , Pit Optimization, design of Waste Dump and run away. In this sense, as Planning Engineer, I participated in the reopening of Cerro San Isidro and the construction of his services infrastructure, while Cerro Bolivar operations were closing.In the Aggregate - Cement Industries, I was responsible for Planning, Extraction, Processing (Crusher Plant) , Evaluation and Optimization of Resources and Reserve in the Pertigalete Quarry, close to the biggest Cement Plant of Venezuela, taking part in improvements projects associated with the increase of Clinker production capacity (1,000.000 t/year) in the Expansion Project of Plant Pertigalete II.In the Gold Industries I coordinated Exploration Projects covered from the grass roots exploration to Pre-feasibility stages: Geological, Geochemical, Geophysical, Structural Mapping, Metallurgical Test. Additional to, implemented Perforation Campaigns for the definition of Resources & Reserve: Contracting, Execution and Quality Control. (DD, Aircore, RC). I was in charge of establishing strong relationship with communities across the Implementation of the Standard AA 1000 SES. , mining and environmental authorities. The most important Project culminated with mine discovery. Choco Mine, in Bolivar state, Venezuela.
