After being first mate for years, it is now time to set sail as the Captain on board Tecla.

The Tecla is a family owend traditional sailing vessel. We sail and manage her with 4 persons, when sailing I am the first mate on board, in charge of safety, training the trainees and I am the cook. When a shore I am the online developer, I manage and develope the website, the social hubs etc.

Currently setting up a new fair in Den Helder, for Traditional Sailing Vessels. First edition will be held the 11th, 12th and 13th of november 2016. The Traditional Sailing Vessels Fair will be held on Willemsoord the old Marine complex. A place with history and tradition. It will include workshops on building wooden boats or how to manage a sailing vessel. You will be able to buy your supplies for next winter maintenance or book your Bucketlist holiday on board one of our many amazing Dutch Traditional Sailing Vessels.

Working on website, finding new trainees, keeping website and social media up to date. Supporting special project with online actions.

I worked for Amnesty International for 3 years. I started as a trainee in the marketing devision with the ´collecte´. After that I got 3 more project based jobs and finaly I worked as a project leader on re-activating local groups in Amsterdam. We set up a projejct group and a discussion group with all the local groups of Amsterdam.
