Seit 2005 fördert und ermöglicht die Bürgerstiftung Neukölln zivilgesellschaftliches lokales Engagement in einem der vielfältigsten Stadtbezirke Berlins. Ziel ist ein liebens- und lebenswertes Neukölln, in dem sich Menschen auf Augenhöhe begegnen und ihr Lebensumfeld aktiv mitgestalten können. Mit dem Patenschaftsprojekt für Grundschulkinder „Neuköllner Talente“ und dem „Mentoringprojekt Neukölln“ für jugendliche Sekundarschüler*innen setzen wir uns seit inzwischen fast 15 Jahren erfolgreich für mehr Bildungsgerechtigkeit im Bezirk ein. In den beiden Projekten werden 1:1 Tandems zwischen Neuköllner Kindern und Jugendlichen mit ehrenamtlichen Pat*innen und Mentor*innen aus ganz Berlin vermittelt und begleitet. Zu den Aufgaben der Projektkoordination gehören:• Gestaltung des Ehrenamtsmanagements (Gewinnung, Bindung und Betreuung von Ehrenamtlichen) • Gewinnung neuer Kinder und Jugendlicher für das Projekt• Gestaltung der Familienarbeit• Erarbeitung eines Schulungskonzepts für Ehrenamtliche• Planung, Organisation und Durchführung von projektbegleitenden Veranstaltungen (Schulungen, Workshops, Gruppenaustausch-Treffen, Feste & Ausflüge)• Erstellung von Berichten und anderen Texten für die Öffentlichkeitsarbeit (Flyer, Homepage)• Kommunikation und Kooperation mit den verschiedenen Projektpartner*innen (u.a. Schulen, Jugendämter, Eltern, Kinder und Jugendliche, Pat*innen und Mentor*innen)• Abrechnung von Fördermitteln• Projektdokumentation & Datenbankpflege

I was responsible for the interns coming to Berlin, finding them internships, housing and being available for questions and emergencies during their stay in Berlin.
