Over the past 24 years I have led a variety of education technology initiatives in K-12 and Higher Education environments. The work involved in these initiatives included everything from research on best practices, solutions and policies to installation and implementation of the selected product or process, through to continual monitoring and service improvement of the provided solution. The strategic goals these initiatives supported ranged from improved communication, equitable access to resources and improved data security.I have a strong passion for student learning and a deep understanding of how the tool of technology has grown to become instrumental in the learning environment. It is because of this entwined relationship that it is imperative to maintain a high functioning I.T. department and stable network in order to support student achievement.
