Hired as a Senior Logistics Manager and challenged to deliver multiple events across London the UK, Europe and the US. Ecuador

Mesabe is the biggest Food Festival in Ecuador. As Event Director, I was responsible for the conceptualisation, creation and management of the 2015 and 2016 festivals, whilst retaining traditions, history and cultural richness in attendee experience. I managed direct reports and a wider 650 team through festivals that attracted 40,000 attendees over 4 intensive days.- Owned the concept, creation, development and execution of all facets of the Food Festivals, leading the design, marketing and logistics teams through venue selection, infrastructure build, supplier sourcing (entertainment, security, branding, kitchens, suppliers, tickets, audio, lighting), PR and media and on-the-day executions- Selected 45 popular food establishments from across Ecuador, and embedded food standards and associated policies - Slashed the budget by negotiating zero-cost entertainment from local artists to showcase their art and music - Supervised public relations and media, transforming the approach that boosted sales by USD $950k in year one - Coached the direct reports from a 650 strong team within the biggest festival of its kind within the country - Forged a pivotal relationship with the Ecuadorian Chef Association to oversee future Food & Beverage activities

Ekos is a Business Summit and Gala event provision that unifies CEOs and Executives from the most successful companies in Ecuador to progression and business change. As a Senior Event Manager, I was responsible for the full events lifecycle for major events, including the Golden Ekos Awards, Gala Dinner series and Annual Business Summit. - Successfully organised, developed and executed 3 major Gala Dinners, the Golden Ekos Awards, Pymes Recognition Ceremony and the Great Place to Work Gala event, all of which recognised great talent and business in Ecuador - Innovated and created a memorable and lasting experience, whilst optimising vendors, budgets and operations - Scouted across bureaus to select and onboard life-changing keynote speakers, including Jack Welch (General Electric), Steve Wosniak (Co-Founder, Apple), Jordan Belfort (The Real Wolf of Wallstreet) and Renée Mauborgne (Blue Ocean)- Optimised budgets and expenditure for maximum value and benefit for clients and event attendees - Negotiated with suppliers and successfully reduced core spend for venues, vendors, audio-visual, travel, transport, entertainment, conference design and associated administrative processes - Led the full planning and execution of all media, press and marketing and sponsor relations to raise $100k+ per year

Habitat III is the United National Conference on Housing & Sustainable Urban Development. As a Senior Event Manager for the once-in-every 20-year event, headed up the logistics team in charge of planning and execution of a roadshow of 20 events within a fast-tracked 6 month period, with full authority over venues, vendors, production, set-up, VIP travel, keynote speakers, event teams, budgets and seamless on-the-day delivery.- Led the highly successful VIP Evening Reception at the Ford Foundation in New York prior to the Habitat III roadshow - Head of Planning & Execution for the Inauguration Dinner of Habitat III hosted by the President of Ecuador and attended by multiple Heads of State from international territories, with pin-point accuracy in all facets of event delivery- Selected all vendors for the Main Event, including Production, Dressing and Translation Services for 7 UN languages- Implemented Meeting Space options for UN leaders at the venue, including a TV Studio for UN TV in under 48 hours- Negotiated with international suppliers to build stands for regional UN meetings, travelling to Prague, Mexico, New York, Barcelona and Surabaya to also promote Habitat III in Quito, Ecuador- Energised the team through the set-up of 9 F&B venue options to service 30,000 people daily through Habitat III- Led the team in the set-up of 17 side room events, with a rotation of approx. 100,000 people throughout the conference
