I’ve always cared a lot about self-improvement. I finished my BS Computer Science Degree at the University of the Philippines as the class valedictorian of my batch, and I attribute that success to the innate desire I have to push my limits. In college, I was eager for real-world experience, so I started teaching at a programming school while still a student myself. I created and taught custom courses that introduced students to programming fundamentals, web development, game development, and automation. I enjoyed sharing what I know with people who share my interests, and I still do.Along the way I started working as a software developer at Automaton Systems. My work has spanned API development, database architecture, test-driven development, CI/CD, and UI implementation using Django, Celery, React, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Docker. I’m always willing (and eager!) to pivot when more hands are needed on deck.I’m a technical person; I like being able to untangle difficult knots and I like problem solving. I’m very curious by nature, and I’m always keen to learn more.In all things I do, I strive for excellence.I get good feedback for:1) Proactively identifying and solving inefficiencies2) Learning quickly to adapt to new challenges3) Incorporating feedback to improve my performanceFor hiring opportunities:I’m highly interested in working on projects where I pick up new skills.
