Some stories lead to tragedy while others lead to transformation and triumph. Jethro has spent 25 years studying what stories make the greatest impact on transforming lives. After graduating from Dartmouth, he started his career studying stories of people experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles. A series of documentaries he produced led him to work with local leaders, who with the help of voters in L.A. County, raised $3 billion to fight homelessness, providing homes for 23,692 Angelenos, and chairing the statewide task force on homelessness inspiring a comprehensive crisis response along with $12 billion to combat homelessness in California. He has produced motion pictures, television, investigative journalism documentaries, the Oscars and was elected as the youngest vice president of the Producers Guild of America where he has represented 8,700 top producers of film, television, news, and digital content. His work also helped convince Star Wars creator George Lucas to invest $1 billion in bringing the first museum of narrative art and visual storytelling to Los Angeles in 2025.He has served as Founding President of Dartmouth Alumni in Entertainment, President of Dartmouth Club of LA, Founder of IVY Entertainment, and currently serves on the alumni Board of Polytechnic School in Pasadena, the first independent K-12 school in Southern California with one of the highest yields and lowest attrition rates in the country, a 15 acre campus with 27 buildings, and an endowment of $71 million.
